From December 2008, London Midland will be running trains every hour between Birmingham and London on the West Coast Mainline and improving services on other parts of our network. To make this possible, Network Rail is investing £8 billion in improving the track and signalling and needs to close the track and signalling when it works on the railway - often over holiday weekends. We will timetable buses to fill the gaps in our services this causes - find out more about the work.
London Midland is continually working to improve our service, from buying new carriages to training our staff, and our franchise means we'll be held to account on our progress. Our key commitments are: - Buying better trains
- Improving stations
- Simplifying fares
- Better customer service
- Being more environmentally friendly
